About Me!

I’m a stay at home mum with six kids!  We have girl, boy, girl triplets, who are 11  years old.  They were born prematurely at 26 weeks and four days.  We also have a larger than life 8-year-old girl, a 4-year-old girl and a 19 month old girl.  Life is somewhat crazy and full on in this household, but I love my ‘handful of hearts!’

I am married to my best friend who had a heart transplant 11 years ago, because of complex congenital heart disease.  He was born with double outlet right ventricle, hypoplastic left heart, transposition of the greater arteries & mitral valve defect.  He is the most amazing man, and I’m so thankful he is my husband.  He’s a very hands on dad, and I just love him to bits.  🙂

I like my life to be ordered and organised, I follow routines, but slowly I’m learning to let go, to loosen the reins and enjoy life! I love my family, I love my friends, I love my life!!  I am a Christian, and I am so thankful that we have Him in our lives.

I love chocolate.  I am a coffee snob, I love my coffee machine, and I enjoy having a glass or four of wine with friends.  When I’m not pregnant I love cooking for my family, especially now I have my kitchenaid!  One day I would love to go to Disneyland, with the kids. It’s good to dream……right??!!  LOL!

I am also a runner.  I started running in January this year (2013) and I am starting to extend my distance to 10km now.

We are also in the process of starting up a business with friends.  Exciting times indeed!
